The American Revolution began here in the 18th century and more recently Boston has become a a center of intellectual, technological and political ideas. It has a vibrant atmosphere with students attending over 70 colleges and universities including Harvard and MIT. Cultural attractions do not disappoint. Boston has several successful sports teams, performing arts groups, and is even home to the oldest restaurant in the United States.

After Class

Follow the Freedom Trail and walk by some of Boston's most historical sights such as Paul Revere's House and the USS Constitution. Get cosy with a bowl of clam chowder at Quincy Market, then burn it off with a jog along the sunny banks of the Charles River - just outside EF Executive Institute.

For those who wish to venture further, New York City is just a high-speed train ride away. You can take a boat to Cape Cod and relax on the beach, or visit Vermont to hit the slopes and practice your skiing.

Lieutenant Bethoux, French Army, France

"My week's stay in Boston was great. I really liked the mix of small group and one-to-one lessons. The teachers have a very good pedagogical approach and designed the lessons to suit my needs. Daily conversations with my host family meant I was able to practice my English outside of class. EF Executive Institute Boston is fantastic and well situated and the language laboratories are superior. Boston is an exceptional city. I found it very rewarding to meet students from all over the world and to interact with different cultures."
